Great guide but please format the fish so that they stand out more. The location and bait are highlighted more than the actual fish itself. Having the fish appear first would have been ideal, but simply Bolding the fish would help alot as its currently very hard on the eyes. Thx
Eg. [The Salt Strand (16,35) - Meteor Survivor - Rat Tail - 3 am to 5 am - Overcast, Fog, Wind - Gathering Rate <348]

Updated The Lone Ripper. Also started to highlight names of fish per your request.Great guide but please format the fish so that they stand out more. Forwarding this information update from a reddit post to update "The Lone Ripper" in your OP.
"I tried to catch this fish, used the information from this link:
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-You-Patch-2.3
Data isnt correct, wanted to post in that thread so the OP can update it, but I cannot login to the official forums, no matter what explorer I use, so I am posting the updated data here, hopefully someone can report it in that thread or the starter sees it him-/herself.
Fish: The Lone Ripper
Location: Halfstone
Weather: Gales
Time: 2 attempts - 10pm, 11:59pm
Gathering 373 - both attempts were a failure, the reported <353 is incorrect
friend had one @ 9pm, gathering 339 - also a failure"
Edit: My comments:
Forwarded to the OP good catch. There is some info on this fish as well on the http://na.ff14angler.com page. However the information in the comments (which is the meat of it) is in Japanese. Hopefully someone can translate this. I see a number as high as 391 (gathering most likely) in the comments and as low as 342 which will still require OP to adjust his info.
What part of the entry are you stating is wrong? I can say from personal experience that:
339 = Gathering too low
353 = sufficient gathering
Had food wear off just before a cast, snagged a lone ripper, but got the "gathering too low" message
Hello',
It's possible to catch the Frilled Shark during overcast, and fog as well.

(Well, there's only the overcast screen, and in french)

Well < x means less than x, so basically the entire thing is wrong in that regard. The meaning is pretty obvious though, since less than makes no sense here.

Meaning someone recorded a catch at 342 gather which is lower than what was originally posted.
