Adjusting to 1.18

So now that leves are nerfed, along with mages, what is the best way to get sp? With autoattack being implemented, how has your battle style changed? Where are the best spots to party grind?

Basically, now that 1.18 is out, how have you changed your playing style?

For myself: I think so far the best SP I got was in a grind party killing raptors. I heard that there are beastman camps that have good respawn rates and give good sp, but I haven't tried them. I barely did any of the sidequests, because I heard that they were going to give sp, so I have spent most of my time in FFXIV running those. My ARC is only 41, and I want to know the best way to get it to 45 for the dungeon.

(Also, random question, how much gil should I offer as a reward for a repair?)

I'm enjoying the new battle system, I once again love my GLD. I loathed the 1/2/1/2/1/2/1 and nothing else. I enjoy being able to think and talk about what I do without the nec, spam. Add alot of value to my gameplay as well as tactics. As for SP I quit many times because of many broken mechanics. I've never been one to use broken mechanics as a way to pull myself forward. Then again, I didn't like the zerg mentality that ffxiv had for a long time.

I actually love the hate meter too! As an Archer I try to get the hate meter to red and then use a light shot when it turns yellow. Whenever I get enough tp I use a hate removing ability and a weapon skill.

I'm hoping it's not popular at the moment because people are still trying out all the new content. Once the good camps are discovered, I think it will get better

Or they will just keep grinding with friends and linkshell, hope they dont though, and do use the search
