Eror at install, HTML Parsing Error

I'm trying to reinstall the game and I keep getting the same problem over and over every time I try.

As soon as the Terms and Conditions page pops up at install, I get a Script Error saying

An error has occured in the script on this page.

Char: 0

Error: HTML Parsing Error: Unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (KB927917)

Please help! I dearly miss playing FFXIV!! My roommate plays daily and I endure watching him play and missing romping through extreme mode primals with him.

Hey, two possible solutions for your problem.
1. search your comp for a file named "FFXIV_BOOT.cfg" - open it, change the B4EulaAgreement value to 1 instead of 0.
2. go into internet explorer -> tools -> internet options -> security tab -> custom level... -> script section -> ("Active Scripting" = Enabled)

If neither of those options are effective, try a reinstall with your virus protection set to disabled (you're supposed to when installing, didn't do it on desktop - got this error bs) however I did disable them when installing on my laptop, and it runs just as it should.
