In a game flooded with DPS I'm still not sure why SE decided to release a DPS class.
Why have a game when you cannot even play it?

    New to MMO?
I am not sure about your world/data center, but the longest I've ever waited as DPS on Cactuar is around 15 minutes. On peak hours, I can get in less than 10 minutes (Often around 5).
Obviously tank and healers have it easier.

My opinion... this might not be the genre for you, if you're only playing for bits of story.
I'd play an offline RPG or JRPG if I were you, though I get it. It'd be nice not to have a queue at all. It's just not a realistic thought.

Progress in life as in game can be seen as setting a goal. Let's say I don't want ilvl 150, but set my goal on something simple, say beating all content and maybe getting enough money for a house.
Not sure how your server works, but mine the non-ilevel content is never run, and if it is theres some crazy "perfect" requirement."
"We will run once, and if we wipe I will disband."

As as all 50 crafter, I once managed to save 1,000,000 gil. The Master tool patch ruined that, because I did not realize it was a money sink with no real benefit. Needless to say I'm broke and none of my crafted items sell even though they are favorited.
    So much for my house.

I am a working adult who comes home and has 1-3 hours to play before I pass out.
I love the art, the story and the feel of this game.
