I hate it when threads like these exist. I know you're just trying to "give a shout out" and all, but they always seem to be a precursor to toxic environments.

They seem to signify a need for people to congratulate someone on something they should be doing anyway. They often lead to "worst poster of the month" threads.

I frequent other major forums. A common topic on gaming forums is: "Worst community of all time?". Of course there's people who instinctively say "LoL" "CoD" or "WoW" without really thinking about it. But lately, and I mean a lot lately, I've seen FF being cited as one of the worst. Makes me sad because almost all of my in game experience has been rather positive.

Anywho, good luck with the thread. I just hope the community feels like these threads aren't necessary yet. I'd hate to see the official forum community wind up in such bad shape that we start praising people for not being a troll.
