While I agree with the overall desire, I understand why it is set up the way it is. Namely if it was super easy to switch gcs you will end up with one as the "main PvP GC", and in oone months time that GC will dominate the entire server. Human desire for the path of least resistance is strong.
An alt is an option but this game was pitched to where we'd have the freedom to do all things using the Armoury System & that's a lot of work & time spent gaining Soldi/Marks outside your main just to Frontline with friends.
I don't get the harm to allowing us to Frontline under two banners, especially since we already represent two GC's in battle.
Less restrictive gameplay please SE, it's restrictive enough with 8-man capping & little-no viable open world group content at 50.
After having given it some thought and reading some of the responses in this thread, I agree with the idea of setting it to FC-GC if people would like.
LORE > FUN!@
How entitled to think your entire FC should be able to take up that many slots. I'm tired of being paired with deadweight players, even worse when it's a pair of them. There should be a limit to how many people can queue in a group at any given time.

Let me put it this way, would y'all rather have the option of 'conveniently' siding (or opposing, see below) with your friends in Frontlines or not?
It's really hard for me to believe that people care more for various other reasons than having the freedom to easily play with or against their friends.
For those who would prefer to Frontline against their friends for the competitive vs. enjoyment, consider this:
Under this system, it may be just as equally inhibiting to be able to play against your friends as it is with them.
If any of you are currently aligned under the same GC, then you're just as shafted with regards to playing against one another as those who are aligned differently.
A couple of my friends are in the same GC as I, so if I want to Frontline against them, well I'm out of luck because we don't have that option without one of us switching GC's.
Oh wait! Now I'd like to ally with them again, either we wait 15 days for me to switch-back (suspending progress made) or my friend now has to switch GC's also (suspending his progress).
I just can't get past the confusion of trying to understand someone who would support such a restrictive system.
Above all else, it's merely an insane hassle/setback that I believe there is no good reason to have exist in this MMO environment.

Under the coming system, with an FC large enough, I'm sure a number of full parties under one GC will be plausible.
Every group of players is entitled to grouping up... it's an MMO.
I have a PvP LS on my server, we'll be splitting into Full Parties for Frontlines all the time.
Frontlines is the second big group content in this game that totally ignores the FCs. It is crazy.
There is absolutely not content at all that you can easily do with your FC and after CT this is the second time SE puts their head in the sand when it comes to FC content. Yes, we knew it was going to be GC vs. GC, but they could have made it in such way that they could choose if you wanted to play under your FC GC or individual GC.
^qft
Hunts are going to be huge I think, finally a little something for FC's to do together at large. But dividing us so badly for Frontline & more division for CT2 for awhile (24-queue should've made it in prior to CT2's release)...
It just feels wrong for an MMO to enforce so many unnecessary limits on group-play.
