Man you're turning this all on it's head. Actually we're the bad people for expecting a standard of behavior! One might wonder why you'd queue for a roulette that has a bunch of places "I don't want to be" but I guess that'd make me elitist?

Because it needs to be done. People want to be instituting harsher penalties on tanks who leave. As a tank I may just be zoning into a dungeon that I happened to get and I really don't want to do. So now I am stuck doing it or get penalized, where is the fun in that for me? I have the right to do a roulette just like everyone else and I should have the right to be able to choose whether or not I want to do x dungeon without a significant penalty. I will take 30 minutes but anything longer than that or other suggestions that have been mentioned in this thread are just absurd.
It may have nothing to do with someone wearing sb gear, or undergeared people. It may be a simple fact as I don't want to be running this one more time. I have run most of these dungeons enough times I could draw a map for you.

lol at all the crying about time wasted. I say let's go back to the days of the mmo's of the past to see how rough you really have it!
Ultima Online - PvP any place any time and the winner got to loot your body of all items you carried while you stood there as a little ghost OooOoooOOOOooo
EverQuest - Your body remained at the location of your death and you ended up at you last bind point. Then spent a very exiting run naked back to try to retrieve it.
- Your death resulted in and XP loss. Also every time you died in an attempt to get that body back would cost you more xp.
- Sit on a Dock for 20 to 30 minutes to sail to a different zone just to miss the boat.
- Once you got aggro in a zone that mob was yours until you ran to the edge and zones out.
- Stand around for hours at the Tunnel near Freeport spamming items you have for sale because there is not Auction House.
Yea you got it really tough!
Some people are like Slinkies - not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs
I think it's awesome that the retirement home gives you computer time. Game on! >: )lol at all the crying about time wasted. I say let's go back to the days of the mmo's of the past to see how rough you really have it!

You think you should be provided the most hedonistic impulse driven experience possible, anything but the most optimal experience is not good enough for you. You're going to act in an entitled way that virtually no other role does and further we should be happy about it and respect your infantile method of play? Well tough noogies buster. It's a game not a snack item or a drug. If you guys keep pulling this crap I hope you see stricter penalties. Honestly a lot of people won't feel sorry for you at all either.
Does anyone get tired of showing off their "gaming chops"? Honestly you're not a kid but you fooled everyone, congratulations? This person isn't saying you don't know what a video game is, but they're saying saying "it's just a game" as some kind of way to excuse anyone making a judgement on your behavior is idiotic. You can't flip over the monopoly board, right? People say 'it's just a game' and then operate with less decency than most smackheads.

Well the whole point of dungeon Roulette is to have the system select a random dungeon. The whole point of the roulette bonus is to help parties that are lacking in certain jobs. If you don't want to help out parties that need you to clear dungeons and only like to do certain dungeon then don't roulette. But hey, most dungeons only take 20 to 30 minutes to clear anyway so if you would rather spend that in time out, that's your choice.Because it needs to be done. People want to be instituting harsher penalties on tanks who leave. As a tank I may just be zoning into a dungeon that I happened to get and I really don't want to do. You said it's a game. Most people play games the way they feel best suits them. I am doing just that as so are you since you are still rolling dps. Roll a tank and then you won't have to worry about one dropping. Your harsher penalties are just going to make it harder for you to find a tank.
But if I see Toto-Rak one more time my head is going to explode. Roulette is far from random as there are dungeons I never get and it is always the same, Toto-Rak and Tam Tara. Just because I dislike one or two dungeons doesn't mean I should try to get the bonus myth, experience, and gold from the Roulette. Yes most last 20-30 minutes but that is 20-30 minutes of me retaining my sanity.
Last night I rolled all 3 new dungeons with my FC. All of them have multiple classes and they said they would never Duty Finder any dungeon ever again. Why? DF is a crap shoot. Roulette? It's not just random dungeons it is random players with random experience with random languages and who could be just straight up Bots. Let's not forget about the random personalities, etc. So my tolerance is low. I don't mind someone new but there are people far more elitist than myself. So let's punish all because of a few. I have dropped 2-3 dungeons because it was something I didn't want to do out of the 100's of dungeons I have ran.
I should still have the right to be able to drop. Just like you as a DPS have the right to well DPS.
