Echo for EX and Coils, wtf?

This is basically what I'm getting at. I don't like the echo in general, but I can accept having it as a tool to help bad players catch up to the latest content. However it shouldn't act as a progression loophole, and at LEAST you shouldn't be given achievements for it....

There is no way that would fill up within a reasonable amount of time, if it ever filled up at all.

If so many people are against Echo as you're making out there to be, then I don't see why not. Stop whining about other people's parties and make the effort to make your own instead.

Yes, lets get rid of a mechanic that's probably helping a large portion of the playerbase progres with content just so a select few can feel special.

Unfortunately, you guys have missed the train on HM fights, Ultima Weapon, Garuda/Ifrit/Titan Ex and BCoB. Fortunately SCoB and Moogle/Levi Ex are still available for your needs with the Brutal version of SCoB coming soon.

Let the people progress on the content that is already outdated.

You're forgetting also that people with disabilities play this game and, for whatever reason, they may not possess the same reaction time "skills" that you do.

The game also has it's own problems that make things harder for players in certain game mechanics. And it can be frustrating when you're doing everything right, yet the game itself isn't working as intended.

If you don't want to use Echo then just make a party based on that fact and advertise it properly.

Stupidity is not a disability. And how does slow reaction times have any effect on your ability to properly perform mechanics. The fights in this game are completely scripted. For those lacking the intelligence to figure that out. You know whats coming before it happens if your not lazy.

I never said stupidity was a disability. Have some fucking respect! I was talking about actual disabilities. Slower reaction times can mean you don't think quite as quickly as someone else, or that you do but you can't put those thoughts into action as fast as somebody else, and many other things. It doesn't mean people are stupid.

And having slower reactions would make something like Titan EX impossible for some people. Let alone some of the Coil mechanics. AoE is not friendly to even the most everage of players, let alone those with disabilities and such.

Echo is there to help players who may be having a harder time, for whatever reason, than others.
