Echo for EX and Coils, wtf?

Yoshi-P made this declaration on difficulty being reduced himself before Coil was even released on the beta forums. The intent is that as time goes on, and new endgame gets released, existing content will be made easier. This was implied in his posts during beta, and he even restates this over and over as time goes on. You're allowed to have your opinion on the matter, but your problem with it comes a little too late (over a year late).

How can one feel ok with saying "I beat such and such boss" if the game just hands it to you.

First of all, it far from "hands it to them". Second, not everyone wants to be an asshole elitist. Thirdly, this game should be playable for everyone. Not just you and your standards. The option to turn Echo off is there. Stop trying to insult other players and use it if you wish.

The game is playable as it is. If you're constantly failing content, its not too hard, you just suck. Point, blank, period. I feel echo is nothing but a crutch that too many players fall back on. PT dies over and over and theres always that 1 person thats like "Don't worry guys we got echo, we will win." Bad players keep being bad, and echo reinforces that.

I am sad because fights that used to be fun are no longer fun. I don't know what is so hard to understand about that.

No he doesn't, his point wasn't "durr nothing will help if you're bad" it was "hurr bad players will be bad players and will never get better".
Not gonna lie, I suck at any game the first time I play it, but practice and time help me get better.
Playing games helps you get better at playing games, what a mindfuck.

But according to your own report of what you said, you are wrong, because you can, in fact, turn it off. >_>

And as others have pointed out, going into these fights with anything higher than ilvl 90 gear equipped is just as bad, yet no one seems to have issues with that.
