Go into Turn 5 and see if the game hands the win to you.
Second Coil is were you wanna go btw.

It works for WoW and they make $3,600,000,000 a year.
If pigs can really fly, I wouldn't care about anything else!!!

Echo is for old content, and it still doesn't win the fight for you. As far as I know, the latest extreme primals and coil raids never have echo, and the amount you get on the older ones is meagre and doesn't help much, you still need to execute everything correctly. Echo exists for a reason, to ease things for people lagging behind. If you want a challenge, do the latest content, try beating Turn 4 of the Second Coil of Bahamut, and soon Ramuh extreme mode.
I find it odd that levi/mog em are getting echo when ramuh's drops are the exact same ilvl. How the hell does that make any sense whatsoever.
This is basically what I'm getting at. I don't like the echo in general, but I can accept having it as a tool to help bad players catch up to the latest content. However it shouldn't act as a progression loophole, and at LEAST you shouldn't be given achievements for it....
They're different slots, first off for loot. Mog = Neck, Levi = weapon. Levi weapons, btw, are i95... with an EXTREMELY unreliable chance at i100. Ramuh = i100 weapons and i100 rings. Different ilvl weapon from Levi and a different armor/accessory slot. The rings are most likely guaranteed, with weapons as a random chance. This is basically what I'm getting at. I don't like the echo in general, but I can accept having it as a tool to help bad players catch up to the latest content. Even if they were to drop something from each every kill, that's still an essentially different means to gearing without a loophole of sorts. Primals are side content, intended to offer challenges outside of Coil and rewards accordingly. You make it seem as though things like Soldiery gear don't exist.
^ that.

Wellp, good to know that people who progress at the game at their pace, taking their time, are bad players. This is basically what I'm getting at. I don't like the echo in general, but I can accept having it as a tool to help bad players catch up to the latest content. However it shouldn't act as a progression loophole, and at LEAST you shouldn't be given achievements for it....
