    They should let us have the option to desynthesize and receive all materia back at the cost of destroying the item, that way ppl wont feel like they dumped millions of gil worth of materia only for it to become useless when new equipment comes out.

    Anyways, the destruction of materia is part of what keeps the economy flowing. otherwise, prices would drop, and it woul,d remove yet another form of moneymaking to the common non-crafting player.
