[PETITION] Primal Mount Acquisition Adjustment

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before or even discussed (although I am sure it has), but I feel there should seriously be a readjustment to the whole Primal Mount acquisition.

So, here's a scenario: You farm ___ Primal for xxx runs. You have all of the drops and have run enough times to get even five of every drop. You get into a party where people don't even have all of the drops, the mount drops (the only thing you don't have) and you get outrolled by people who are on their sub-10th run. You have nearly no purpose to run the EX primal(s) other than the mount, you run over 50 times just to see it and have nothing to show for it in the end. Isn't that sort of...screwed up? There's literally no reward if you've farmed to the point of gaining all of the drops aside from the mount, and if you're specifically going for it, you'll most likely never get it unless you stick with the same group of TRUSTED seven others and they let you have it when it finally drops.

So, what can be done instead? Why not make it an achievement unlockable like EVERY OTHER MOUNT. That way even if you don't get loot, you have something to show for your dedication in farming that primal or helping others beat that primal. Beat ___ 25 times for a Baby -Insert Primal Name- minion. Beat it 50 times for the mount. Beat every primal EX 30 times each for the Nightmare. Isn't that more fair? Doesn't that make more sense?

It's just a shame when you farm a specific primal for literally 30 hours or so, only to finally see it and someone else snag it who just received their first win.

I second this petition.

On a serious note though, I do wish the primal mounts were a little different to acquire, I've only seen one mount drop and I have done a ton of Extreme primals. The person who won the mount was also dead for about 90% of the run (despite me raising them 5+ times) and got their achievement for beating it.

I completely agree. As someone who collects mounts I've essentially given up the thought of ever having all of the primal mounts, let alone one, as I've never even seen them drop. I don't agree with gating what is essentially a vanity item behind extremely low drop rates, especially when you have to compete with several other people to obtain it.

I don't know what it was originally, but deliberately downsized text size and orange on faded yellow background is far from 'fixed'.

On the topic however, yeah, I can see the reasoning behind what you want, but it's also just a cosmetic mount and I really could not care less. Things that make completionists squirm make me chuckle, so I'm mildly amused with how it is now.

boss dropped mounts aren't really meant for everyone to have, thats why its rng and this is the best place for rng to come in play unlike the bloody atma's (horrible rng situation). anyways, there are so many variations you might get lucky and get one or none, but if you want it badly enough you keep farming. its a solid system set up to keep people queing up for the primal fights. this way people who need the fight don't end up waiting 4+ hours to get in. mounts are about the only thing that separates one character from another, in fact I don't completely agree with the class mounts being available to all other classes. if your a whm you should only have access to the unicorn as a whm. seriously people stop being cry baby's with your hands out! you want something unique put the work and effort in to obtaining it. these horses aren't even a year old yet hell there hasn't even been an xpac yet and its like you want a 100% drop on this stuff, get over your self. I don't have any of the horses, and I do plan on farming for them and I DO NOT support any petition like this.

I've done a countless number of EX fights and have only seen one Levi mount. They could at least up the drop rate a few %
