They probably won't even care anyway. That's like telling someone who's never heard of the Red Hot Chili Peppers that Dave Navarro used to be in the band.
Dave who? Exactly.
.....Nael......
@_@ It happened to me. There I was eating of the delicious patch notes when WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM...I saw the spoiler. I won't lose any sleep over it, but I hope that we can spare at least one person the terrible fate I suffered. In the 2.3 preliminary patch notes, the name of the boss of turn 9 is listed in the New Achievements section. For those who know a bit about Eorzea's lore but haven't reached turn 9 themselves and seen the cutscenes and have been trying to avoid spoilers for it, it could be a very unwanted surprise to have that revealed.
I know I avoided all spoilers and had a simply "OMG" moment when I reached t9 and I don't want the ruined for anyone.
I am a 1.0 player and thus would've appreciated this OMG moment, in fact I still went "OMG" just reading the patch notes. I am just a very inefficient player (always have been), so it takes me a lot longer to get things done in-game. Most people are very surprised to see my legacy tattoo.I don't blame them.
Could someone just spoil this for me?
(The Titanic sinks.)
Honestly though, as the story is now progressed past this, it is old enough to be "spoiled" since you already got the hint in almost year old content (Turn 5 was the first reveal, which been in game since August 2013.)
