I'm going to second (and indirectly third) this.

Whilst I knew of the particular spoiler, my partner didn't. She had purposefully avoided any temptation to find out what was happening in Second Coil. But having read the patch notes (because who doesn't want to see what changes are coming), she's a little miffed that this has been spoiled for her.
