S-E puts Roulette in so lone players can find parties easier and gain a bonus for doing a random dungeon.

Couples and people in statics kick up a stink because they feel they should be allowed to join as a party for Roulette because Heaven forbid they have to interact with other players in an MMO for a 30 minute dungeon once every 24 hours. S-E rolls over and appeases the torrent of tears.

Now we have a member of a said pre-made party QQ'ing he has to accept a random dungeon while joining a Roulette...

Actually that's where you're wrong. You only pay for access to the servers to play the game. You are still bound by whatever rules or changes that S-E wants to apply to the game. If you don't like then don't play it.

Me personally, I think that the groups joining roulettes to Speed Run Brayflox and then ditching on the unsuspecting PuGs is wrong. S-E has pretty much agreed its wrong with this change to how grouping for roulettes will work. Don't like leave or lump it.

They are doing this also because Brayflox HM, Halatali HM, and Lost City of Amdapor are moving to Hard Roulette, which means that now you might get one of those three or you might get AK, WP, Pharos, Copperbell hard, or Haukke hard. People already abused the roulette when they got Halatali or Lost City but wanted Mythflox, and this grouping will make it worse since people still shy from Pharos even after the nerf.

I remember a run of Coil 4 where mistaking 3 tanks where in. With this new thing also applied on this "Ok lets either wait 10 minutes, or try to get it down" Before you say "t4 is teh isee" remember there still are some that need to clear t4 or farm it because they dislike the mytho gear.

Silly mistakes happen when you make a group, now to suffer from a silly mistake with penalties is meh.

Some of those "clear first room" groups probably will to be not so amused, because a good group can do this in less than 10 minutes =.=

you know what full formed party means? they go as 4 people in, there are no unsuspecting PuGs there are 4 peopel that exactly know what they want. Join as 4 people, kill as many bosses as they want, exit rinse repeat. No other people are bothered with that

It's only for roulette. It looks like they also changed the myth tome distribution on Bray, Hala and Lost City so there's likely a myth drop off the end bosses now. There's actually an incentive now btw to run roulettes WITHOUT a premade as you might get a first timer and get a first time tome bonus on top of the roulette bonus.

When joining Duty Roulette as a party, abandoning the duty within the first 10 minutes will incur a penalty.

There's actually an incentive now btw to run roulettes WITHOUT a premade as you might get a first timer and get a first time tome bonus on top of the roulette bonus.

Chances are we won't get much of that now the real influx of new players has died down but it's still a nice bonus regardless. New expansions bring new players as well.

Why would you re-enter till you get the dungeon you want? Totally defeats the
purpose of roullette lol. And most likely, the amount of time it takes to keep queuing
up for and to keep changing... you were better off just finishing the one you got to
begin with. Some people...
