"The Greatest Story Never Told" is a heretofore unseen type of quest wherein adventurers must employ their wits to solve riddles and unravel a great Eorzean mystery. With no guidance from the journal or duty list, adventurers must listen carefully to the words of NPCs and decipher clues to determine their next course of action.

I wonder how many of the riddles will involve finding a location, and the proceeding to wait for time/weather/planets to align? They did it with sightseeing, I'm sure they'll mess up here, too.

Hope never dies, but to be honest, i will not bet on them with knowing how they messed up sightseeing...

You guys can be optimistic, but after the way they implemented sightseeing and other recent updates... I have no hopes for this. I expect it to be boring and excessively time consuming. SE can prove me wrong. Believe me, I'd be happy if they did.

I loved the old Halloween imp riddles from one of the 1.xx events but found the sight seeing log too difficult (and I DON'T want to look up the answers). Would be nice if they had different difficulty levels to some riddles. The imp ones may have been too easy for a lot of people but I'm sure some others struggled with it. Was probably hard deciding on an intelligence based difficulty rating for something everyone had to get through within a couple of weeks. I'm curious towards which degree of difficulty this will land closer to if there only is one possible path.

Day 1 or 2, all the answers will be on a wiki or forums anyway, not to mention people shouting for answers in-game. Riddles and secrecy don't exist in MMOs, if you think they do (or fall behind the crowd by working alone), others call you ignorant and criticize you for NOT looking anything up.

So..... I wouldn't hold my breath.
