Yeah I saw that too - I presume it's in preparation for the introduction of RGE and NIN in 2.4. Still, the removal of gladius type swords seems a bit... well.. odd... given the fact the actual Latin word 'gladius' is the root source for the actual word 'Gladiator'! Ah well, I was expecting it anyway, as it was something Yoshi hinted at a long time ago (removal of knives/daggers from GLA for use by RGE).
