There actually was a special Summer event track that played in each city during the summer event Moonfire Faire in version 1.0, it was simply called Moonfire Faire by Nobuo Uematsu, and it's available as track number 52 on the Before Meteor soundtrack album.

Unfortunately last year the summer event was kind of a rushed affair due to the launch of the game taking place at the end of August, hence there was only a sped up version of the Costa del Sol theme used during the Moonfire Faire FATEs (called Ruby Moonrise by Masayoshi Soken), so I'm hoping Moonfire Faire properly returns as the background music this year.

I miss the goldfish scooping also. It was my favorite festival in game. Had all those mini-games, fireworks, gear, and the music was awesome.

Hey Everyone,

Sorry for the late response, I know some of you wanted to celebrate your patriotism by blowing stuff up on July 4th.

During the upcoming summer seasonal event, we are planning to sell the fireworks from last year’s Moonfire Faire once again. We’ll be releasing more information on Lodestone shortly, so please stay tuned!

By the way, we’d like to continue to add new, fun fireworks to the game, so if you have any cool ideas for something you’d like to see, please feel free to suggest them!

Personal Fireworks are fun, but what about the BIG "commercial" fireworks that were set off around each City-State? Much like the Celestial Nights event in FFXI!

Definitely this! ^ I still make it an event each year to log on to XI and enjoy the Festival!
