    Coil T1 Crashes my game

Hi, so everytime that I try to enter the Binding Coil of Bahamut - Turn 1 through the Duty Finder my game crashes with the error message "FFXIV has stopped working.".

I tried to enter it 2 days ago and the same thing happened twice, with everytime that I re-opened the game it crashing again after the log in stage.

I tried it again today just now, (11:32am GMT), and the same thing has just happened.

EDIT: Just tried to re-enter the game and it has crashed just after displaying the message "full party".

Go into the Event Viewer on your computer. You can find it in the control panel > administrative tools > event viewer. Expand the custom views and click on administrative events. Look for the error that corresponds to FFXIV's crashes. Provide that information here.

Damn, another memory access denied error. FFXIV is trying to access address space in RAM that it isn't allowed to access. It's very hard to pinpoint the cause of such errors. Unfortunately, FFXIV doesn't have any form of manual file corruption checking. You can try backing up your settings, uninstalling FFXIV and reinstalling, but that would be only one of many possible solutions. Did you recently clear out any malware or virus? Ran windows updates? Installed other software? Try doing a google search for the EventID for that error message.

I haven't really done anything like that, I mean the latest thing I have done is updated my Gfx drivers. Though that was only to get rid of another problem I had with Ul'dah and parts of Coerthas dissapearing graphically. Like I have no floor in most of Ul'dah. very odd.

I will uninstall and reinstall the game when I get home later, see if that does anything.

I noticed some people have the same problem with graphics cards that use both onboard RAM and system RAM where they only have 2GB or less of system RAM. Before reinstalling FFXIV, you should install another 2GB of RAM to bring you up to 4GB. A 2GB stick of DDR2 RAM should only cost about $20 - $30 USD. I think just doing that will solve your memory access errors.

Coil is very stressing for the pc.
I suggest you get at least up to 4gb, like syx mentioned.

    But one thing is:
    2GB RAM
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT 240 with 1GB dedicated Graphical Memory but a total 1.7GB Shared System Memory.
Therefore you are stealing 700mb from your 2GB RAM??
So you are leaving Windows (which minimum required RAM is 1gb for 32bit) with 1.3gb for both itself, all other open programs AND FF?
Yep, leave that card with only it's 1gb and try again.
