I don't understand why a buyer would like FF11 AH, it was good for sellers only,
buyers need to test the price from low to high for many many times or you will over-paid for the item.
Moreover, in FF11 crafting not really make profit, actually the profit was came from the materials, unless you got a HQ by RNG.
And I recall during levelup crafter, I needed to sell all products to npc as no one will buy,
and I even needed to camp at the vendor npc to buy the materials upon daily reset.
In short, IMO economy in ARR is more enjoyable than XI ^^;
Yes, but I make the point of saying it as some people try and pass their opinion off as fact. So was just making sure people knew that my opinion was that the economy was fine, before someone tried to disprove me with facts.
Rather than trolling the threads trying (and failing) to be funny, why not try contributingengaging your brain can be fun.
Also a question mark is for questions onlyyou use one of these . when it's not a question.
I am all for crafter's crafting relic weapons, the fact that an NPC does it is silly when players would run and operate this system and circle an economy around it. I am going to tell you a fat NO to atma drops. i have got to atma weapons and ill tell you I am in no mood to farm fates for another.My second idea: Allow all the high level gear/weapon recipes to be made by crafters... Yes, you farm all the mats, and allow a master crafter to craft your gear.. guaranteed HQ, no chances of breaking, etc just the fact that a high level crafter can craft them will be incentive for people to level crafts as there will actually be hopes of profit in the time it takes to level up a craft to 50...
While I agree that endgame gear should require crafting, I completely disagree with the economy being bad because my definition of a "good economy" isn't based on "I craft 1 item and sell it for millions of gil". Because farming spiders in Altepa for months to get enough gil to buy a Haubergeon is not fun.
People are selling and buying stuff from the MB, and if you put in the effort, you can make a lot of gil. The economy is fine. And it will continue to be fine as long as they keep adding new stuff to craft and new stuff to buy and sell.
He doesn't mind us conducting trials so close to his bazaar, so long as he's properly compensated... Yes, Portus, we pay him in sorcery-blasted bird flesh. - Cocobygo
Crafting in XI was massive profits above and beyond anything else in the game. I could sit in town and buy off the AH and turn 100k into 1million in an hour with capped woodworking (A cheap to level craft).I don't understand why a buyer would like FF11 AH, it was good for sellers only,

Leveling a craft in XI cost 100s of millions and yes it was almost all work. But the payoff was at the end. Those who took the time to craft and level it up never had to farm for gil again. You were set in the money area of the game more or less for ever. Goldsmith cost 150-250million to cap it. But once you did you could pull in 15-25mill a week though, without ever leaving town spending 30mins a day. Woodworking I could take those NPC shop items and turn 10k into 120k in about 5mins. And they sold fast as demand was always there at least for the first 7 years of the games life. Almost all the people with relics who did not have a whole guild giving them stuff were capped level crafters.
NQ gear was worthless yes, HQ gear is where you made money. HQ rates were more or less 1%, 10%, 30%, 50% depending on your tier you hit on the craft recipe. The more rare the more profit. The harder the craft to level up the more money the end product.
Honestly it is almost polar opposite of XIV.
XI it was massively rewarding at the end and really made a massive difference in the game, but it was a hell grind to get there and required 100s of hours of farming to get the money to do it. XIV it is more fun leveling and no stress but pointless in the end. your choice on what is preferred. I am not in the Fun is always better camp, it has to have meaning in my eyes.
Well good news, albeit the whole de-synth thing is ganna be one hell of an investment of primal/allagan drops.XI it was massively rewarding at the end and really made a massive difference in the game, but it was a hell grind to get there and required 100s of hours of farming to get the money to do it.
