Why don't the devs post more often?

The forums been up for about a day, and depending on number of translators if they translate everything... it will probably take like 10-20days. Nearing 300 topics and probably close to at least 4000 individual post, and that is just the general section.

I would not expect any immediate direct contact from the devs... most likely only the JP players will have the luxury of that.

Well yes, but I know there are some people at SE who can speak English (Sage Sundi comes to mind, though I don't know if he actually plans to post on these forums). But even just posts from the Community Reps would be fine. Just... give us something. Don't leave us in the dark. That's all I'm asking.

You do realize about 20k topics were made day 1? But yet we want the game fixed and Devs wasting there time posting, come on man get real.

My pet theory, which has yet to be refuted, is that the development team is woefully underfunded and understaffed. They need more resources to bring this game to parity with other MMOs and even more resources to make it a game worthy of the FF series. They simply don't have time.

Are you really surprised? I doubt that they have the time to respond to us so quickly right now. They aren't like us, where we already have people that have 60+ posts in the short amount of time that the forums have been up.

Like KRTGDL, I do think that they are understaffed. Just have a feeling they don't have as many people as they should. I imagine that they are really working themselves really hard right now.

Seriously, I think I've seen maybe... two dev posts since the forum launched. Two.

I know that most of the team is Japanese, and so naturally people of other nationalities and languages aren't going to see quite as much activity, but come on! Two posts? What the crap is up with this?
