Why don't the devs post more often?

8 hours?! I bet they're laughing (or crying) their a**es off right now, lol.

Few reasons come to mind for starters:
1) The beta version of the forums launched yesterday.
2) They need to re-establish their internal policies regarding how much they can be involved in the discussion, what they can or can not discuss and how to handle posting in two different languages effectively. Even though some may refuse to believe it, they have a lot more work to do to get this right compared to other MMO developers who simply post in English or Korea (and outsource the English development to some F2P company) and let other nationalities deal with it. SE could do the same with Japanese but they're better than that.

Before they can even post once they need to be done with those issues. Deal with it for the time being.

so you want them to fix the game and also reply topic that there like 5-6 of them all the same asking to fix area,copy paste,auto attack should i go on? it's going to take them time for the eng to get any reply from them wait a few days

My pet theory, which has yet to be refuted, is that the development team is woefully underfunded and understaffed. They need more resources to bring this game to parity with other MMOs and even more resources to make it a game worthy of the FF series. They simply don't have time.

Are you really surprised? I doubt that they have the time to respond to us so quickly right now. They aren't like us, where we already have people that have 60+ posts in the short amount of time that the forums have been up.

Like KRTGDL, I do think that they are understaffed. Just have a feeling they don't have as many people as they should. I imagine that they are really working themselves really hard right now.

I know that most of the team is Japanese, and so naturally people of other nationalities and languages aren't going to see quite as much activity, but come on! Two posts? What the crap is up with this?
