Fairy trouble.

It has been quite a while since I've used scholar.
In fact it was pre 2.1 since I have played as intensely like I am now.
Finally I used my scholar last night to do the duty roulette. And it seems to me that the fairy isn't healing or using its abilities as often. Do I have her set up wrong or something? Or did they nerf the fairies.

There's a current confirmed bug wherein SMN/SCH pet-skills won't go off even if you hammer the keybinds for them, on Obey. Refer to this thread for the information. Apart from that, whether you have your fairies on Obey or not - they will start auto-Embracing when a person in your party dips sub-80% HP. The rest is just up to your micromanaging.

This may seem obvious but make sure your fairy is in range. I've had to point this out on occasion when tanking and the scholar is struggling to keep me up.
