SCH needs one tweak [DEVS PLEASE!]

You know, I think SCH is one of the best balanced jobs that SE has ever done, either here or back in FFXI.

But it has one utterly useless skill that really, REALLY needs a small adjustment. I speak of Silent Dusk, Selenes 1sec Silence ability. Silence interruptions in this game are a matter of quick reflexes and split second timing, as any BRD or PLD can tell you. The problem with Silent Dusk is that it has no priority. In any fight where a Silence might be needed. Selene will happily spend her time spamming Embrace on the tanks, meaning that Silent Dusk will not go off until after her current Embrace is done casting. This makes it almost completely useless.

What I request is that SE tweak the function of the Pet stance "Steady" to disable ALL fairy actions, including Embrace. This would allow us to keep her in standby mode and perform Silence duty in fights where it might be needed.

Wouldn't it be much better to have a macrocommand to stop pet casting and instantly cast a new ability then to require your pet to basically do nothing the whole fight?

I have no trouble with silencing with Selene, even when she's healing. There's not many instances of when abilities go off so fast you don't have time to cancel her embrace (heel her) and then silence, especially if you're anticipating that you need to silence.

I alway thought it would have been better if Silent Dusk was replaced with Leeches, and Leeches was replaced with a skill that instantly swaps Eos to Selene, or Selene to Eos. Shame recasts are generally shared between pets (true for Summoner, can't remember if it is for Scholar or not), since switching pets out frequently would actually make the Jobs feel more like pet Jobs, rather than Jobs with a pet. I already messed around with that back in 2.0, having Selene out for Spell/Skill speed boosts for Titans heart phase, then swapping to Eos for post-heart phase, throwing Fay Covenant for Mountain Buster.
