    [Botanist] Fragrant Log Question..

    So I've been wondering something with the new patch coming up shortly, does anyone have any clue if saving these up in HQ ahead of the patch, would be useful?

    I've already got the Hatchet + Hat so I've no need to gather them anymore (maybe only to get NQ to trade for Cordials) but ya.. Anyone know if the next patch will bring new items to the NPC dude in Mor Dhona to buy using HQ Fragrant Logs?

    No idea, a luminary offhand tool would be nice though.

    I didn't throw my extras out but I will not be gathering more.

    There was a rep posting that DoL's and DoH's would be able to get new Main Hand Tools in 2.3, but I doubt that Fragrant Logs/Umbral Rocks would be necessary to obtain them. I'd figure that, if we again have to "gather X amount of high tier material", it would be one that requires 408 Gathering instead of one that requires 370.

    New items: Antumbral Rock, Redolent Log

    Chances are you'll need those for new equipment and not Umbral/Fragrant.
