We apologize for the frustration that all this congestion has caused our most loyal fans and truly appreciate the support and patience you’ve all shown us so far. I’d like to give you all an update on advance ticket sales for the Las Vegas Fan Festival.

Advance ticket sales are not completely sold out.
Also, we are still planning to sell the second batch of tickets next week (Tuesday, July 15 at 10:30 a.m. (PDT)) as scheduled.

We anticipated that there would be a large amount of interest in the advance ticket sales which would lead to heavy traffic to the event website, however, there were unanticipated errors that began occurring as a side effect. This caused many people to experience a lot of congestion and/or errors when trying to purchase their tickets.

As a result of the problems that the event site was receiving, the decision was made to halt ticket sales momentarily. While the ticket counter showed that the advance tickets had completely sold out, it was actually a matter of them being on hold/pending during that time.

We still have 483 advance tickets to sell and we will be re-opening advance ticket sales (timing to be announced). The event company is still determining when the fixes can be implemented and as soon as we have a set time that they will be re-opened we will be sure to let you know.

If you have received an email confirmation that you have your ticket, then you have successfully made your purchase! If you have not received an email confirmation, you are encouraged to try your order again when we re-open advance ticket sales.

Regarding the promotional codes – if you have not made a successful purchase with them, then they are still valid and can still be used.

That's good news, but where will they post the announcement that we can TRY again? How fast do you think those ~500 tickets'll go? Depressing thoughts. ><

Same here this was my only trip planned this year and it kept timing out before getting to second page. They need to add more tickets and repost today, I and many others took time off to try to get the tickets.

Subscribers really should get priority for the entire rest of the pool of tickets, including the "general" ones. I also support the reduction of tickets per promo code per person to one or two.

Edit: it just baffles me that fans don't get priority for all the tickets in a "fan festival."

yea it will be a silent release knowing how SE works and then there will still be a S*** storm because they will either re crash site sell out in 2 mins people will be working so cant buy or asleep or some other reason just wish they would of made this all pre reborn players sign up and next week all active members and no everyone else because if i get a ticket and find some one who doesnt even plat at this place i will want to punch then because they got a ticket some one who actually supports the game should of had

I wonder if this all could have been avoided by providing a survey to players to gage the interest in a fan fair and had the appropriate number of tickets available.

I barely got my tickets for me and my friends. After trying to buy Comic Con tickets, I learn to just let the page load without refreshing it over and over. It took forever to load the pages but I eventually got in.

The loading time did deduct the overall total time that I had available to fill out the forms for three people before the tickets were canceled so I had to rush. I hope I didn’t make any typos >_<

I just dont understand why people were so adamant about booking flight and hotel arrangements BEFORE obtaining event tickets knowing they were in limited quantiy... kinda putting the carriage before the horse no ?
