They should release promo codes and make them available at certain times with 200 - 500 ticket allotments so that server load isn't this big of an issue. Since obviously eventbrite isn't capable of handling such a huge event.

This was just depressing.
Managed to capture screenshots of my two separate attempts to purchase tickets.

Got mine, but man what a pain in the arse that was......
Same situation... Maybe my only opportunity to purchase since I will be working during the next round. Sad dayI'm not off work next Tuesday... and after this, I wouldn't ask off.![]()

That's pretty much my experience with this whole event. This was just depressing.

General Ticket Sales:
Starting Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. (PDT), all remaining tickets will go on sale.
You will not need a promotion code to access the site and purchase tickets.
Previously provided promotion codes will no longer be valid.
Tickets are limited, and will sell out, so have your information ready!
Tickets will remain on sale via the website until Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. (PDT) or until the event is sold out.

Not to mention, some of us work every Mon-Fri and can't be at a computer to buy tickets when they go on sale. It's extremely hard for me to get time off of work, I barely managed to get half of today off and I timed out 3 times before the site ran out. And no internet allowed in my work room because of 'security' reasons. Today was literally my only chance and I got screwed by the potential of 450 people being able to buy all the tickets (4 per person).

Still a lot of crap that while I was filling in the info for names and CC info for 2 tickets they sold out even when I had time left.....unlike ticketmaster which locks the tickets for you until u decide to purchase or timer runs out. Still waiting to hear back from CS about that issue.

Except some people never even got THAT far. Some people never even had a chance basically.Still a lot of crap that while I was filling in the info for names and CC info for 2 tickets they sold out even when I had time left.....unlike ticketmaster which locks the tickets for you until u decide to purchase or timer runs out. Clearly there are a ton of CURRENT PLAYERS that want to attend, if we still manage to get snubbed next week by people who don't even play... UGH really upset. Like many of you, we already have flight/room booked like a month ago, husband has taken time off work, and arranged for our kids to be watched so we can attend. And I know we could (should) have waited till we got tickets, but everything goes up in price the closer you get to arrival date.
I'm not saying that they should do another advance sale, but they should really consider locking it to current players altogether to make sure their subscribers can attend :/ Total bummer, don't even care about all the new patch content anymore atm...
UGH I just had a terrible thought... all those RMT with accounts probably got codes too, and it's just another item for them to make money off.
