Are you one of those dudes that thinks PGL can't defend itself because it can no longer spam light strike and cures?the problem is, in thier balancing patch, they imbalance the classes way more.
before pug was defense and offense and survival, now its just offense
before marauder was defense and offense and survival and aoe, now its just the lowest DD
before lancer was DD and support, now its just DD
it would be one thing if difficulty showed the imbalances already inherent, but thier job fixes were actually them making the classes even further imbalanced.
And yeah the constant goal of MMO developers is to try to correct the imbalances in the game, some of these are the same problems they and others have already dealt with, why create it again?
oh i can defend myself, but not as well as i used to be able to, and i cant counter as much, and i havent been given any more dps for that loss, i also dont have as many emnity tools. They also ended up buffing glads dmg and tanking prowess with stamina removal and what not.

pug mrd defense/enmity down
at the same time, make dmg mitigation even more important for everyone (including DDs) by making mana the hidden treasure of life and cures that require most of your very soul to cast.
the overall balance of game has shifted to damage mitigation/avoidance and cures/mp pools, and in the very same patch they nerf my ability to mitigate dmg overall.
so if glad has improved emnity/dd/dmg mitagation
arch has highest dps and ability to avoid dmg
and con has your only good option for healing
how does this make sense for the other 4 classes? No one is saying that the other jobs cant do anything at all, just that in the new game balance, they are totally uneeded and offer no real benefit for being in your party.
and at the same time they made DOW less unique in terms of class mechanics and playstyle differences, lose lose situation. still needs work. def needs balanced
I used to be able to kill raptors and efts 10 levels higher with fairly low risk, and little downtime, now i can still do it, with a much higher risk, but worse, a fairly decent downtime. this means my overall ability to deal damage and survive is lower.
and glad was already the prefered tank for endgame stuff so they just imbalance it even more.
So one tank got better
