Fact is that one can only get the new Chocobo food from a garden. So will the FC's be gardening for themselves or selling that stuff for a ton of gil on the market? Probably both. Each estate can have up to 512 rooms! Each person can raise a Chocobo in the stable. Now, we have the need for up to 512 garden plots? Chocobo raising and private rooms are the most exciting thing I see in this new release. I will definitely be working toward getting a level 20 companion, but the buffs from the foods will be something just as important to me, and I'm sure others. From the notes:

When summoned to battle, chocobo companions will now receive beneficial effects when using the following foods:

Sylkis Bud Companion Attack Up
