UPDATE AGAIN: We NEED a SCH!

UCS is looking for a SCH to fill in a spot on our #2 coil raid team. As soon as we can get this slot filled our second raid team can start hitting Turn 6.

This is an opportunity for a newer player with little to no experience in end game content, or someone with greater experience but looking for a more relaxed pace and an awesome team of great guys to play with.

The right candidate is someone who is interested in more than just coil, but someone who wants to be a member of a small, highly active FC. Coil is the only content we use static groups on. For everything else we attack it as an FC, as a team!

Hi,
A friend and I are interested in meeting you and the rest of the group. I main BRD (iLvl 103) but have every job at 50 and at or near iLvl 90+, so I can be flexible. My friend (Waffle Falafel) is a WHM/SCH and is around iLvl 96, I believe. I have cleared T8 and Waffle has just cleared T6 this week (first time ever going \^^/).

We are looking to join a friendly group for Second Coil that wants to do their best to progress.

A couple questions. Do you require everyone in the Coil group to be in the FC? We are both high ranking members in our current FC, so leaving would be a big commitment. And do you require members to use voice chat? Neither of us is comfortable using voice chat (we can listen, but prefer not to talk).

Thank you for responding. Yes, we would ask that you join our FC. We're not just looking for players to fill slots in a coil static, we want players that will be members of our FC, who enjoy playing the game together, as a unified team. Honestly, we would prefer not to have any static groups at all. But SE sees fit to use a system that encourages LS and Static groups, and is more limiting to traditional "guilds" like ours.

Voice chat wouldn't be a problem though. We have several players that only listen and never talk. As long as you can hear the raid leader, you're golden.

But 2nd Coil is not all we do, and we're hoping future content will include more raid content so that we aren't forced into static groups within our own FC. That content is tackled as an entire FC, not just a static group of 8 players.

Call us old fashioned.

Thanks. I completely understand and feel the same frustration at being forced to use static groups for Coil. I'd much rather log in, ask if anyone wants to do anything, form a group, and away we go.

Leaving a good FC to join a new one is obviously a big decision, but one we may be willing to make. Maybe we can get together and do some stuff sometime.

I know exactly how you feel. And yes, leaving an FC that has been your home for so long is very hard to do.

But let's talk. I'm all for expanding my friend list! We have a few contacts outside of our FC that we periodically use when we're short on people. And who knows. You might just find that we could be your new family.

Hey!

I'm a little bit newer to the game(joined in April) but I've gotten my BRD to i93 (currently leveling Pally and CNJ to have a healer and tank class as well). I play late night almost every night of the week. I've cleared Titan EX, and the first couple of Turns, but it can be difficult to find groups in PF or my own FC as a lot of them play earlier in the day. I have a weird schedule working tech support, but I really want to be involved with a group that wants to progress through the game.
