Crystal Tower loot problems

My friend has been doing Crystal Tower ever since he hit lv50 a week ago and he's only got one piece of gear in that whole time. The problem he runs into is if he's the only one (Black Mage) no Crimson gear will drop or he'll get put into a group with ppl who have lv 90-100 gear and still roll "Need" and win and the last one I'm sure is just random, but he always has really low rolls. I mean he'll roll 2s and 3s. I know your personal inventory is checked, but I think they should check beyond that. Taking something that a lower geared person could use is not cool and I know if I see someone doing that, they're getting kicked.

People are in CT for many reasons. They are entitled to roll "need" no matter how geared they are. Be glad you can't turn in CT gear for seals. Kicking someone for something that you think isn't "cool", but that they are perfectly entitled to do, is probably not a smart idea. If you want to guarantee some drops, make a group of 8 friends and queue up together.

Honestly, while you may not think it's cool or fair, it's perfectly fine for people to need on gear for their role, even if its just for vanity reasons. And for you to kick them because of that is actually improper use of the vote kick feature, which is against terms of service.

Or people could not be selfish and let lower levels get their gear as well. If you want to vanity something, make sure another person doesn't need that item. I don't care if I wanted this item for vanity and I've been chasing it for a long time. If someone needs it, i'm passing it.

You for trying to kick someone that fairly participated in your fight and won the roll.

Or me being a transmog collector who constantly spends their day running unneeded content over and over again to use a feature square added to the game, and which many many many people enjoy.

Did I say anything about kicking the person? No, I did not. Sometimes it's nice to put others before yourself. Especially if it's something that a person actually needs as compared to you just wanting it for looks. I've ran dungeons a lot of times for one item. I finally seen it appear, but I gave it up because someone actually needed it. I'm sorry if I'm not a selfish person unlike many others.

Once in Levi EX, I greeded the bard bow (the only Levi weapon I have is the scholar book). One other person (the person who had formed the party as a FARMING party) also greeded the bard bow. Everyone else passed.

They started crying that they really needed the bow because that was the very last Levi weapon they needed. Being a nice person, I left the instance so they could win it. Turns out as soon as they won it, they left their own farming party immediately (after one run).

So, again, who exactly are you calling selfish? Because, unfortunatly, that quickly taught me being nice to people gets you nowhere sometime.

I'm talking to any of y'all that think your reason for wanting something in a game is better then someone else's reasoning. You can be nice and pass if you want that is your prerogative but if someone try's to make someone else feel bad over a video game item for their own gain then they are just as bad as there person they are accusing.

LVL50 and need gear?

Craft it yourself.
Buy it off the AH.
Join a respectable FC that provides their members.
Make your own CT group in Party finder and make your own loot terms.
Or roll the dice along with the other 7 people in your randomly selected duty finder raid.
