As for your questions, Duty Roulettes and weekly Challenge logs are now the fastest ways to level and earn gil. You will also see leveling parties starting from Lv.44 who just clear up to the first boss room of Dzaemel Dungeon or Aurum Vale. Also, the guildhests have been changed so the first-clear bonus applies to all classes individually. That means you will receive bonus xp for completing it as a PUG and a GLD, or whatever else you want. Between them and leves, it is possible to earn 100k over 1 or 2 weeks easily. You will have to spend some time starting quests to unlock the new features, but it simply requires some running. Keep in mind, the most popular dungeons currently to speedrun are Brayflox HM.

Philosophy tomes are also outdated, but you can exchange them in Revenents Toll for Myth. The Myth weekly cap is removed, and Tomes of Soldiery are the new time-controlled token. Also, all the weekly completions reset on Tuesday, instead of Monday now.

The harder primal trials and Coil have been moved to a faster server that updates your position 3 times faster than previously. Some players will still lag and disconnect, but it's not nearly the same level of problem as before.

Most players will be able to clear up to T4 and the primals now. Coil T5 is still something of a chokepoint, but only as something players need for i95 weapons. The second Coil is the new raid and requires a fairly high dps check to clear t8. The new novus weapons let you customize the stats on your relic, but you will have to grind quite a few FATEs for them.
