Female Only Gender Locked Gear? Again?

That's what it looks like, at least, judging from the last Dev Blog...



Previous images showed that female Eorzeans get a frilly night cap that they can wear, but in this image it would appear that the men's nightcap is also being worn by the female Lalafell.

Personally, I'd prefer all gear to be equipable by everyone, and this goes double for vanity gear, but I do get why you'd want to halve the work required to make gear for both genders. This, though, combined with the sailor outfit from a few patches back, it feels a lot like the guys are just getting the shaft here.

If you must insist on denying tiny hearts and bows to half of Eorzea's population, couldn't you at least throw the males a bone or two? Something that they can call their own? I love this game to death, and I'm happy with how often you actually listen to what the players want, but this is just perplexing.

Spellcasters get pretty dresses anyway. What would it hurt if we got actual dresses? Or if the ladies got our awesome leather hotpants?

I honestly don't care if men want to wear dresses. I wish I could have snows jacket but that's not going to happen.

The sailor outfit was for both, and it seems this one is too just with variations for each gender. Doubt we get slippers so you have that. Also that dress looks uncomfortable to sleep in, it looks more like a gown. We get the most important thing though..*_* a nightcap!

Sailor outfit was originally male only they just decided last minute that it looked good on both and removed the male only lock on it.
