I will generally base it off of performance, though I lean towards commending dps roles more. If the entire group was competent I will give my commendation to the dps of the group, unless the tank or healer did/said something that either made me laugh or was impressive. If there's another DRG in the group it goes to them 99% of the time, unless they're performance/attitude was beyond horrid. There are rare instances where a group member starts the dungeon with a...less than stellar performance, but takes advice well and uses it. It's like they are a completely different player by the end. When that happens, my commendation goes to them, regardless of role.

While I cannot give a specific date on when personal housing will be implemented, I can say that prices will be completely separate from free company housing, and, naturally, far more affordable.

A bowl of chicken noodle soup sounds so good right now my stomach aches in desire just thinking about it.

I can't help my behavior though. Maybe with some strict training i'll be able to fix it.

Maybe i'll write "Always give out a Commendation even if each member of the group has broken your "Do this and you lose my com." Rule that only i follow." A few thousand times.

Ehh.. 17 Coms until 300 Maybe i'll do some Guildhests since even if i don't follow the "Oh look a tank and healer with a pulse COMMEND!" Mentality does not mean i can't abuse it for my own gain.

Matters in the situation, with shitty tanks who lose agro but the healer is able to heal everyone up then it goes to healer, if DPS is good then it goes to them. Its really easy to evaluate someones performance to determine who deserves the commendation.

I mostly do low level roulette, so I have gotten into the habit of checking the search info of everyone and seeing who's actually new and who's just leveling an alt or running roulette (assuming you can't tell just by their gear). I try to give my commendations to the new players first, regardless of role. In Trials and Expert roulette I try to give it to DPS since we don't get as much love. Although, when I'm running as healer, I find myself giving my commendations to the other healer in 8 mans as a sort of "My fellow healer" kind of thing.

    A) Willing to learn/Take Advice

    B) Someone who communicates

    C) Someone who is skillful at the job and/or run
Pretty much the same reasons as you Talia.

Though I see a few people saying Healers who DPS.
For me, that's conditional. While I'm fine with a Healer who wants to do some DPS, I'm not fine with someone dying do to a Healer's negligence. If you can do both, then by all means, do both; but, if you can't do both, just stick to dropping cures and leave the multitasking to the pros.

I'll commend a tank if he is geared and pulls big groups or new/not very geared but trying his hardest. When it comes to DPS, I'll commend them if they LB at the right times or give guidance to newbie group members. Once in awhile when I don't go as heals I'll commend the healers for putting up with my tanking. Lol. Sometimes I don't commend at all though. That happens when my group mates are all bad or being snarky.

For me, I usually look for:

    -Good attitude
    -Works well with the group
-Knows how to play their class/job
-If needing help, will listen to advice without being apprehensive
-If giving help, doesn't come off as snobby or rude

Pretty much, so long as they aren't an ass to the other party members, I'll consider anyone for a commendation. After that, it's whoever had the best attitude throughout.

    -Healers who DPS
    -DPS that can beat me
-DPS that know when to AoE
-DRGs who don't RoT spam (this is one of the most painful things to watch)
-Tanks that know how to effectively mitigate
-BRDs who use Requiem when I'm on BLM :3

I don't really care about the size of pulls. A tank controls the pace and should pull whatever they're comfortable with, but failing to take back agro, and not using defensive cooldowns just puts unneeded stress on your healer and that's really not cool.

I definitely don't commend players if

-Healers just stand there, or heal spam whenever anyone drops below 100% HP (this is one of my biggest pet peeves. Why do you just stand there? How is that fun to you? If your reasoning is that you're tired of running a dungeon/playing, then why don't you make the process faster by DPSing, or take a break from the game?)
-DPS who have absolutely no idea what they're doing
-Tanks that try to pull big while not telling anything to the healer, and/or do not use defensive cooldowns (bonus points if they try the same thing right after the wipe).

Ordered in heirachy. A always gets it over the rest, for example.

    A) Friendliness towards the party - This is my biggest one. I hate toxicity in the community, and will commend anyone who is acting friendly towards the party.
This includes helping new players and explaining fights.
I'm friendly in every group I join, I like to see other players acting the same way

    B) Excellent demonstrations of skill

    C) Those that pull off something truly amazing.
Healer surviving Hellfire in Ifrit Hard and using the LB to res everyone comes to mind.

    D) Finding a fellow DRG who actually knows what they're doing.
Frustrates me when 80% of them don't even know what Heavy Thrust is :|
