What are Your Conditions to Commend?

In 4-mans:

1. I commend whoever stands out
2. If no one stands out I commend whoever is new
3. If no one is new I commend whoever played best
4. If none of those 3 apply I commend my opposite member(other dps if I dps, healer if I tank, tank if I heal)

In 8 mans:

1. I commend one of the healers(my experiences with Titan ex have imprinted on my brain that the healers in 8 mans are always the most important parts of the group)
2. If neither healer stands out(or both suck) I commend whichever dps performed best(if I'm that dps then whoever performed second best).
3. If I'm tanking I'll commend the other tank only if the other 6 players did absolutely horrible.

In order of priority...

1.) DPS who uses the Limit Break responsibly and without provocation
2.) Whoever calls for Limit Break at responsible times
3.) A healer who seems to solo heal or handle the majority of resurrections without running out of mana
4.) A tank who applies cooldowns steadily and offers protective tricks to party-mates in need
5.) Someone whose macros are hilariously unique (callback to a MNK who had the Lyrics to Thornmarch macro'd)
6.) A DPS who rips enmity from the main tank after at least one minute without the tank's death, provided the gear disparity isn't large
7.) Someone who goes out of their way to handle a mechanic that is otherwise a complete dps loss
6, 7, 8.) A dps/healer/tank who avoids being hit by any avoidable damage
9.) A DPS who doesn't die if the other one / three do
10.) A healer who actively spends downtime doing damage
11.) A tank that doesn't lose hate more than once per pull, after ten seconds of pull time
12.) The top performing new person, if there is at least one, provided they don't perform horribly
13.) Nobody

1. Someone who doesn't look like a fool.

2. Someone who doesn't behave like a fool.

3. Someone who doesn't play like a fool.

4. New players can be exempt from rule 3.

Since I pretty much only play healer, I usually commend the people who die the least, and do the mechanics correctly.
I will admit that I have commended people for being funny though, just because why not.

Also don't commend rude people, even if they do the mechanics correctly.

I commend ones if there not rude and friendly. If it is heaven on High. I will commend those that don't run in front of you right before you cast a spell and sets off a landmine or opens a blue chest that explodes. I also commend them if they say look cute or like my outfit and if see hot guy character.
