I do have to agree with Rasenore here that it is basically fanfiction. The Roe, Lala, and female elezen were the same 3 Derplander saw in his Echo vision. In that vision, the Roe is a marauder, not a lancer. Besides that, the three from the vision knew each other years before ever meeting Derplander. Its more accurate to say that Derplander wanted to seek them out, which was why he chose that levequest in the first place.
