I would recommend the Conqueror but its overkill on the acc. The Burtgang is pretty boss though and looks the part.

I appreciate everyone's replies. However, I'm only looking at my alt jobs of SMN, SCH, BLM and BRD. So, I don't really need any info about tank weapons or monk weapons.
I know weapon damage is the way to go but damn I can't resist the crit. My bard crits 42% of the time and it is Glorious. Certainly I wouldn't want to get rid of big chunk of Crit no way. I can make up the lack of weapon damage for all the crits I land. That's they way I think at least
The Book of Diamonds is terrible.
I wouldn't touch it with a ten ft poll.

And you would have to have close to 1000 crit to get that many crits, so I think your % is just in your imagination.

If your only option is the Book of Diamonds then use it. Ditch it as soon as possible though. lol
The SCH book is terrible. About the weapon damage argument, I would agree if it's tank or DPS, but for healers the extra bit of HP healed is wasted as an overheal sometimes. A crit shield from Aldo can make a huge difference, so the t5 weapon is superior IMO. Even if I'm wrong about that, the other weapons are a better use of the tomestone and soldiery.
Oh and yes, weapon damage will increase adloq shield, but I would rather have a 1% extra chance to save someone than 100% chance to make no difference at all

If an Adlo Crit is ever truly necessary to save someone, it's because all of your other heals weren't good enough. Weapon Damage is worth it, especially to healers. Each one multiplies every spell more than other classes because healers command the highest potency skills in the entire game. The SCH book is terrible.
