    T6 for drg

Need help on what my dps should be for drg on T6. Been told by a raid mate that my dps is usually about 245 to 250s. The smn is doing more damage than me I have atma weapon and ilvl 99. I do the usual dragoon rotation. Maybe his program is off? What should the dps be for T6 (and beyond if you know) and any help on raising my dps would be great. We are still stuck on T6 and I think this may be part of the issue. We get to super slug and die each time.

Also my det is 256 and critical is 456 with no food. My acc is over 520 so I'm not missing and str 536. All armor is weathered except for 1 ilvl 90 ring. Sorry would edit but didn't see the option on my phone.

Do you wait until after the Slimes drop/first chains to start getting one of the slugs to low hp?

You have plenty of time on them and everyone should be fully ready to burst DPS when the super slug appears.

As a dragoon you should have high Burst dps for the super-slug, so if there is also a monk in party, maybe best to let them LB the super-slug.

Your dps does sound on the lower side for your gear, but it should be enough to kill it with the super-slug method

With over gearing I hear a lot of people I know doing ss method slightly wrong but that can make all the difference sometimes.
One person should be dpsing the target small slug to half hp and stopping on e it is at 50% preferably the person that is going to lb.
During this push to 50% that 1 person should be applying their dots.
After everyone has escaped acid, everyone else should be applying their dots to target small slug, the mob doesn't despawn when changing so they are not removed, and if you stopped at 50% it will not die prematurely.

Addressing the dps, yes 250 is low, your group is probably spread out to far and losing excessive up time for melees on chains. You should all practically be standing on each other at the 120 deg. From front spot just outside the ring. Assuming mob is facing north the ends chains should be going slightly north, but not far enough to go into the frontal cleave, the center should be going southwest. Chains will break without anyone ever leaving melee range. A lot of people panic run the second they see chains, remember that it is more a test of patience to allow everyone to evaluate the proper execution.

If your DPS is 250 and super slug is not dying fast enough, the rest of your party's DPS is too low.

    Some quick tips

    1. Always run the standard rotation on Rafflesia.
    2. Don't bother dotting bulbs or bee, they die too fast for the full effect.
    3. I typically save DFD for center bulb, even better if a bee is there as well.
    4. Make good use of your gap closers and even elusive jump to get back to Rafflesia after breaking a vine.
    5. Never stop your dps even if you are vined or got the sun, your skills can be used on the move and you'd be surprised how much range your spear has.
    6. In the last phase, Rafflesia becomes a dummy and ask the rest of your team to run back so you can run up towards Rafflesia to break vines so you are always in melee range.

With that said, my dragoon is i96 and I ranged 280-320 in T6 depending on how many suns I get.

Your dps is greatly affected by how many times you're chosen for devour if you use the runthrough method. And how many times that happens is pure rng.

Here's my t6 kill vid with us skipping slugs entirely and just killing boss after they spawn. OT just kites them around. Stormbad has good tips and i'd probably prep disembowel from boss for bee if you know its spawned/coming to you. Hopefully by the time you guys reach slugs, lb2 has built up and try lb'ing the same time slug is about done eating and it'll hit him once hes turned into superslug.

It sounds like the rest of your party's DPS is definitely low as well. You should have LB2 ready for the super slug.

Do you have your allagan or levi spear? You should be using them instead of atma until you get animus or T7 weapon. The extra point of weapon damage will go much further then your atma even with 11/12 of books on it.

or you could just build about 1 lb bar with autoattacks and 1 shot the super slug with lb3 (ok there are 10% hp missing after lb3 but thats no deal)
