Players With Chronic Illness

No one judging or wishing to be defined by their illness, they're just sharing. Stop trolling, and don't bother responding, you're on ignore.

Troll: someone who doesn't hold my opinion. Also, I could care less if some child puts me on ignore. That's not going to stop me from responding with my thoughts.

It doesn't matter in the sense I assume you are thinking. But, while most with any kind of issue wouldn't want to be treated differently, it is a particular kind of experience that you can relate to others with it. For instance, if it is a illness that reduces your mobility, you might not get out as often and find yourself online a lot. So, unlike someone who might be a "hardcore" type and just is all "push push push" all the time, someone with a chronic illness that keeps them indoors might just find them "here" just because of convenience and the social aspect.

So I guess the point of such a topic isn't to garner sympathy, it's mostly just to relate to others in a similar situation. Knowing you aren't alone in the world can make all the difference. The thought that you might be the only one going through something is a tough thing to deal with.

My point of view is that there's no reason to be broadcasting this to everybody. Everybody suffers from something. It's completely about garnering sympathy. It would be one thing if the thread was talking about a specific illness or trying to achieve a specific goal (like finding other deaf people on a server to create a FC with or what have you), but it's a blanket post asking if anybody suffers from "chronic illnesses", a term so vague that I'd be willing to bet that 95% of the people who play this game suffer from some kind of chronic illness.

Like I said before; it doesn't/shouldn't matter. If people are expecting you to be "hardcore" and "elite", they are prolly the same people you wouldn't want to be playing with anyway.

I saw someone that day on pf asking help to pass titan ex because he have some illness with his/ her hand , and as much I sympathize with him/her as much I hate people use thier illness to get people attinton and help , I love to see them forget about everything when they play and just have fun .
