220 is way too low for a brd. An ilvl90 brd with an i95 weapon should be able to pull a steady 260-270 (including songs), and 300-ish without songs.

i would really like to see a screen of those 390+, for max. peak it's too low and for average prolly too high (although i was never able to test how high a bard could get due to our monk who drains his tp like no one else i've ever seen before xD)BRD 340-360 (my best when I had ilvl100 weapon was 358 with 3 paeons used throughout the fight); ilvl110 380-390+ depending on songs
Bard on 220 is bad even with full i90 + i95 weapon he should atleast get 270+ (depends on how tp/mp hungry the group is).
Things like doing Towers or Homing missile are no excuse for losing dps in t8 since you are able to keep your rotation up for 100% of the fight duration (only exception is repelling shot if you're using it to get away from the group with homing missile but even that it's a minimal loss of dps).

The SMN should definitely be higher up there. Should pretty much neck and neck with the Monk.
In my group I'm the only person using poison pots. I always save them for when I have Contagion up again (which I have constantly on CD)
And both are hitting relatively the same DPS despite one having a stronger weapon? Something is definitely wrong there, Weapon damage is a HUGE factor for our DPS. The fight is a giant training dummy that fights back so you should have everybody go out to a training dummy and see what's wrong and keep practicing. practice always makes perfect. And as other people mentioned make sure everybody has the accuracy they need
I just wanted to point out to the OP, since you will have inevitable deaths from the wipes to note at what point you are capturing the DPS values of your team. If you do it post-wipe you'll be seeing everyone do sub-par DPS because it's taking their deaths into account.What's the reasonable amount of DPS for all DD classes in t8?

Our MNK was able to shine the best at 340+
DRG barely hits 290, same for both of our SMN.
Our BRD however only hits around 220.
Keep in mind everyone has i100 weapon, except one of the SMN and BRD (i95)

If you can, try seeing mid-fight what the DPS looks like to get a realistic idea of how much DPS everyone is doing. (If you're already doing this, then hats off to you).
It's also worth noting that at some points in the fight some players will be out-performing others depending on the time. e.g. The SMNs will be doing great if you capture the DPS as a foe's requiem finishes, and it will be lower if you're capturing it as they run out of MP.
TL;DR: Posting DPS of groups that wipe is not going to be a realistic interpretation of their performance.
If you have a SCH in your party, see if he can sneak some DPS in between the tower's activation. That helped us to get our first win back then. The DPS as a tank is not that bad either. According to the numbers, I do 125/130 with paladin. We're solo tanking of course, because we want to optimize the overall DPS. If the SCH DPS, as far as I can tell, they add some 100/130 DPS (could be more, could be less, but the SCH we had back then did 130). So, you have +200 DPS. If you have 5 DPS scoring at least 300 DPS, you're pretty much done. Not to mention the LB, you might be able to use it twice during the battle. Check their rotations, maybe they're doing something wrong. Make sure they are using food, stat potions and buy some company actions to reduce the weakness penalty and tincreasing the food's duration by +10 min.
Tip: If you wipe and have a lvl 2 LB charged, ask the BLM/SMN to start the pull with that LB. It's not a massive damage, but it helps.

It's no where near that amount. I hear closer to 20k from most sources. Sometimes lower.

I pulled 406 in t8 last week w/ i110 bow. It is very possible. That was in a config with multiple BRDs though. I didn't have to do songs. Was maybe 25-30 lower this week while giving the MNKs TP a few times. And for the potent poisoning potions, if all 8 players use it at the start and whenever the cd is rdy again they would gain about 70k dmg over the full duration of the fightso about 7% of the total HP^^
With a i95 weap and on all song duties I'd say 300-320 is pretty reasonable. Give em the benefit of the doubt and maybe say about 280 is the lowest acceptable.

When you factor in two limit breaks, you need roughly a combined dps of 1650 to win with 5 seconds to spare.The boss has 999,994 hit points. Assuming your DPS is low you will have 4 dreads each at 30k a piece. That's a total of 1119994HP that must be down in exactly 11 minutes. That's 1697 group DPS required to win. Tanks do like 40% at best the DPS of a real DPS class. So assuming you're doing the single tank strat that means you have about 5.4 DPS if I'm giving the tank a lot of credit. Every DPS must do a minimum of 314 by that math. More is obviously better and honestly you should assume the tank is probably doing less than what I just ran the numbers on. If you can skip the 3rd dread then that number comes down a bit.
This turn is awesome since it's so easy to run the math on.
Some people in your group need to step up their game. I'm a i105 Dragoon with Liberator and I average somewhere between 370-380 in that fight. I also take towers. We currently run 2 bards in our group and our highest geared one, averages 350-360 in that fight and that's with singing too. Our scholar does a little dps at the start too and can sometimes do up to 220. We solo tank or with a Warrior and he does about 200 dps as well.
Sometimes it has something to do with familiarity as well. Once your group gets comfortable with the fight and mechanics, your overall dps might increase.
