Campions - a NEW way to do this! (Epic!)

We need to be able to use any mount as a companion. Each one would have their own unique skills to use. You can also level them all separately in each of the 3 trees. Except to make it less grindy, make it to where it's a level with talent choices (resettable).

Leave your suggestions to improve on this idea and I'll add it here!

I am behind this 100% would be nice to level your other mounts like the chocobo, would be great so that when leveling other classes yourself you could have a buddy that complimented your job.

This would solve the issue of people wanting to bring the dragoon pet back from the other game. ^^ I wouldn't mind being able to use other mounts. <3 Maybe not all mounts but there are some that would be neat as a companion. ~supports~

I'd love to be able to fight alongside my Couerl, hell I'd level it even if it only had the DPS skill line.

This would be an incredible waste of time and resources, companions are hardly useful or a major part of the game to begin with. While nice, the time and resources are better spend elsewhere first. I guess its a nice suggestion for when the developers have time to spare or for when over-world content is big enough to warrant more focus on companions.

PenutButter, People play the game in different ways. Some people absolutely love their companion. This would help develop that side of things.

i do get were you come from on this but at the same time when trying to lvl up a class alone or by FATE farming thats where companions really come in, i like this ideal as if i wanted to do a healer class i could have my companion attack or as i have now im a DPS and have my companion heal or with a tank have it heal or DPS.
