This is just another random brainstorm of mine, but I wanted to post it just to see who would be interested. Notice how in alot of bosses, there are some attacks or phases that seem familiar to that of certain bullet Patterns from different BUllet Hell Shoot em ups.

Take Ultima HM with the primals at the beginning. Its similar to the one of the spellcards from the Final Boss of " The Last Comer ", A Touhou Danmakufu script game.
So I've been thinking how cool it would be if we had a DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou inspired Shoot em up based on the FFXIV universe. The game would be six stages long, with a final stage being a Boss fight against The Ultima Weapon/Gaius. As a True Final Boss, similar to how we have Hibachi in SDOJ, we could have Lahabrea.

Scoring would be similar to SDOJ as well. You destroy enemies to build up a Chain combo. A gauge on the upper right of the screen would show how much time left you have to destroy another combo to keep the chain going. Each time you add to the chain, the point value of the next enemy kill increases. Should you let the gauge hit zero, the chain will be cut by 15%. Using a Bomb or getting hit with Auto Bomb set on will completely reset the gauge, so for those wanting to score high, don't get hit.

Similar to SDOJ's Hyper System, you can build up an Echo gauge, Up to Level 10. You can then activate the Echo state to get a boost in power based on how high the Hyper level is. In addition, you get a bonus multiplier to your Chain combo boost AND the Chain Gauge is extended, allowing for more time to keep the gauge going.
