    Asking for a dungeon/trial seems a bit much. I enjoyed the egg carrying in the easter event, so I would like to see more of those kind of mini games. If they have to implement fates, make them unique - no fighting, maybe using the right emotes on mobs, beckoning them to a certain place... events should be easy, accessible to everyone and different from your usual quest.

    I miss the old 1.0 crafting events. Being able to craft HQ event gear and give it to other players was nice. It still involved a little combat to get other materials sometimes but it wasn't all about combat and errand running. I can understand why they want everyone to be able to access these things but events in particular should have a touch of personal hand made gifts to them (especially now that items are signed so you know that person made it just for you with care to get it to HQ rather than just buying something from an NPC or market board).

    Granted some of the 1.0 crafting events could have been better done. I remember just logging in for a moment daily to get my random item from ringing the bells. That was as basic as you could get...

    But there was variety. Some events were combat based (moonlet earrings that I still regret missing to this day!), some were crafting (I loved making my HQ usagi helms), some were trivia about the lore of the game (those tricky imps with their riddles!), etc.

    I don't have to love all the events, I don't even have to be able to fully experience all that all of the events have to offer, but by offering variety beyond simple mindless activities like errand running and FATE zerging they whole concept offers so much more potential to be fun. The current system is just sad...

    I will admit however that the races of the last Easter event were different so a nice touch. The majority of the goodies were from FATE zerging however.

    Well I'm not saying every event needs to follow this formula, it's all comes back to the theme of the event.

    Maybe they could make "theme" a pre-existing dungeon like they do with towns? Think of a special Haukke Manor for a Halloween event. A couple of reskins, some pumpkin/candle/spider webs around and a spooky remix of the soundtrack.

    I really like that idea. Running fates is so tedious especially now since we have Atma farming. An event themed dungeon would be so much fun to participate in. Make it a fun fight like gilgmesh where we have to wear event themed gear.
