RNG is the best!

Ok, I get it. This is the way it's done so if you don't like it don't play.

I'm hoping SE is a more innovative company that's not tied to doing the same tired things over and over again. They're open to changing systems from 2004 to something more appropriate to 2014 in an effort to appeal to a broader audience (and a larger number of people paying subscription fees).

They've already shown some forward thinking in this area with the Novus portion of the Relic quest. Hopefully they'll extend this to other areas where RNG is the be all, end all (ie: primal weapon drops, coil loot, materia generation, materia overmelds, atma, etc).
