Brand New Primals

We know we'll keep getting the old Shiva, Alexander, and etc.
What about new primals?

I'd love to see some of the mobs get a new primal. My number 1 being a Goobbue primal. or Cactuars!

And of course that would be great for Summoners

What mob family do you want to see get a primal?

The entire Open World Primal system that Yoshi proposed awhile back just seems like a massive disappointment (or hot mess) waiting to happen. The way it was originally discussed Free Companies will fight primals in FATEs most likely (Already sounding bad), and then obtain the right to summon them provided they contributed the most to the victory (So like obtaining Gold in Odin/Behemoth).

So basically it will likely end up being the same handful of Free Companies monopolizing the entire system and the remainder of the groups will never get to experience it. It'll be like FF XI Notorious Monster Camping - Redux if the reward/benefit for being able to summon them is -really- an exclusive right and carries significant benefit.

This is assuming that the reward or "outcome" of being able to summon them is even worth it, which is not a guarantee.

On-Topic I don't see things like King/Jumbo Cactuar and such (Lesser Summons from past games) becoming Primals - King Tonberry, Siren, and Diabolos are good examples of monsters that had Primal "potential" but were instead used as dungeon bosses. I'd prefer they just keep the primals as a small-ish group, maybe one or two more after Shiva tops and then move into a different phase of the story's arc.

I agree in a sense with you but I actually like primal fights and would welcome more of em as long as they don't make them REALLY difficult or annoying to beat.

I want them to continue primal fights but to also explore other things like open world, event, and quest requirement primal-like fights. An example of a requirement primal/boss fight would be that the server collectively needs to deposit (X amount of mob loot in a container to make this particular primal/boss to appear). Community involvement needs to be a way forth for the game.

3.0 will probably be dragons as main progenitor with Ihsgard, and maybe naughty evil ishgardians. It's the Elezan pin heads, makes em evil, I knows! ^^

Maybe after (I hope) towards Ala Mhigo and Garleans as main progenitors again. From 1.0 Garleans have always seemed main enemy behind the Ascians for me and was kinda disapintng the kinda fell to the wayside after the main 2.0 story concluded.

Ditto. I was hoping that there'd be an invasion or something done by primals to mix the formula up.
