Random Garlean invasion in Gridania?

I like the fact that SE is introducing the coming story events through all this dynamic content, but what would really be great is if once they're done with everything including zone redesigns and whatnot, they implement a sort of "phasing" system in which new players can go through all the previous stuff, hit a quest, then be brought up to speed on current events kind of like Guild Wars.

We do have the Echo. Maybe it can be used for what you just described ...
