Magic Spell: Mini (Can I have it?)

To make our characters small. SE has shown us they can do this in the Gilgamesh fight.

I would like to see magic spell or potion that puts mini effect on a character. Please add one Square.

How so? Put the effect on yourself & also what if you cant use the item during combat or duty. Could still use it in the open world and fight giants. Its mainly a Vanity thing and if SE wanted they could create content around being Mini. Like in FF3 had dungeons and towns only a person with effect of mini could go.

It could be a all class spell/none battle action. Kinda like how everyone can summon a chocobo.

A vanity spell would, no offense, be a waste of dev time. If they are going to do this or toad spell, expect it with a new class/job in xpac and can be used in battle, its good crowd control spell dont regulate it to useless vanity.

"Player" casts mini/frog on "Other player".

Mini/Frogged player cannot attack.

Caster steps on other player.

It has potential, I remember the spell being more of a debuff. Taking away abilities, slowing you, lowering def, etc. One of the only ways to avoid it was with a ribbon. I'm still on the fence with this one.

Mini in particular lowered defense scores sure, but it also greatly increased evasion scores. For what it is worth. And since we don't have Status Buff effects on gear, there will be no Ribbon Accessory in this game.

Ya mini would reduce defenses and attack, while toad could take away ability use and/or loss of character control. Making it more important for healers to remove its effect. And again for dungeons aid in add crowd control.

We do have ribbons(Thornmarch EX). Just not the same ones from previous FF's. And if they felt it necessary, SE could easily add status resistances to them...if they wanted.

At any rate this is just theory and wishful thinking.
