Title says it all, whenever someone new joins my fc they instantly go to the 3rd rank spot with almost all privileges. I want new members to go my designated new members rank. Is there something I did wrong in setting up my ranks?

The rank with the symbol that looks like a circle with spikes on the corners >()< is always the rank new members are assigned to.
XI: Zeroblade, Titan Server
Had the same issue. What I did was to take the rank every new member was automatically being dropped in to and make that the lowest rank and reset the privileges accordingly (takes a little renaming and thought). Created the same rank for the higher roles and re-orged everyone to the right roles. Tested it with a senior member (dropped them and had them reapply) and it worked perfectly. Think this happened based on how I initially structured the FC. Hope this helps.
I know I am reply to a thread years old, but I did all the right things, moved the 3rd rank with the circle with the 4 spikes down to 6th and renamed it and then new members started popping up in the new rank that was in the third position. Help!
Update: Today it is working properly. So maybe it takes awhile to update or something? Was just bugged? I dunno, but I kicked a member and added them back in today and they popped up in the rank with the circle and 4 spikes as they should have.
