FFXIV - New Primal - [ Community Brainstorm Production ]

OK, here we go.

I take my own advice and will make a Thread about possible new Primals, which have never existed in any other FF Title before and do not have to relate to the existing Mobs.

So lets see how this turns out and how we, as a Community do. I will set some Basic "Rules" we have to follow to "create" this Primal and i will add Ideas to this Post, which fit into it's "style", while the Threads does grow.

We can't just say he have to look like this and that, without having some Basics clear to it's appearance. I know for a fact, that this Community has some real epic Talents, when it comes to drawing, so i would appreciate if we would have 1 or even more volunteers, who can draw what we did create at the End.

So let's start with some Basics..

#1 Elemental | Possible Beast Tribe

Every Primal does need this in Eorzea, unless it will be an Elder Primal. So which would be the best option for the Beast Tribe? Keep in mind that we have some allready and some will be bound to other Primals. Gigas for example will be most likely Shiva. SE also did add a "Birdlike" looking Beast Tribe with the latest patches. Do we want a Tribe which does exist allready like Goblins? Or Mamool Ja? Or one out of earlier Titles?

So first task will be the Element and the Beast Tribe. I would like to go with an Element, which does exist for a Primal in one of the FF-Titles, but is currently not in FFXIV. Let the Brainstorm begin and after we found something "most" people can agree with, i will put it as possible solution under #1. After that we continue with #2.

Primal idea - Tindalos. Element: Dark - Drain themed.

Description- Based on the Hounds of Tindalos in The Cthulhu mythos, while depicted in RPGs as dogs or wolves, it doesn't quite follow their depictions . They are called "Hounds" more for their behavior than their looks, which can be bat like with big tongues. Bat-Dog hybrid anyone?

Beast tribe- 1. Qiqirn, their lust for collection and feeding may resonate with the Hounds own nature to hunt and lust for the living. It may take particular interest in those gifted with the echo, attracted to its ability to see memories as a form of "time travel." The Qiqirn might not even be aware of the powers they are summoning, too focused on what they want instead(Qiqrn seem the type to pray for the acquiring of things, "Gimme this!"). It doesn't matter, to Tindalos, they are a means to an end, and the end is this "echo" exhibited from its prey.

Some people do believe that, yes. We won't know until SE will release the actual Info about it.

That is actually a possible case, but beside the point of the Thread. Element/Tribes please... i guess i will go with somewhat close to 50 post's, to have a sample-size. Bigger numbers would only work with Polls, which we can't do apparently. But yeah.. let's go with that.

Primal: Soggy Banana
Appearance: Very, very large; very, very soggy.
Special Moves:
Rot - Makes the banana soggier, grossing out 40% of all players within 18 zones of the soggy banana.
Squishy Goop - Makes a gross squishing sound when you touch it. And ew! Its all over your hands!
Kamehameha Beam - Does 75,000,000 damage to all players logged in on all servers.

Other Notes:
- Its hit points can only be calculated by a large super-computer owned jointly by the seven richest Kings of Europe, and can only be expressed in scientific notation that involves googolplexi.
- Goes great with honey nut Cheerios.
- The brown part is still good! Eat it! We're on a budget!

I heard it drop's people and tables. But yes, could we get back on the Topic ? XD.. Where are all those people who always say SE is bad at design? Now is their chance to bring out their nifty idea's.

Actually, since i know Bayohne you are reading.. May give some support, so people actually will believe that SE would support Ideas, if they fit into the Game and are actually good ideas.
