If I'm right, then why persist in permitting a wrong?
I'm just trying to get more actual raid content - more multi-party content - added to FF14:ARR. Crystal Tower is not enough.

Just leave the RAID part out and just go with more multi-party content and I'm sure you'll be better received.

You'd first have to demonstrate that your definition is what Square Enix's definition is. Since you can't prove that, that means you are asserting something. Which is an argument from ignorance.
I don't like multi-group content because it's usually one of two things; easier because more people to make mistakes, significantly harder because people need to be in the top 20% to win.
Coil is pretty good for what it does.

OP you got it all wrong. Raid don't even have anything to do with MMOs.
They have a lot to do with bugs though

First off, that's not *my* definition - that's the definition as exemplified by MMO's over the past 15 years. The concept of raiding in MMO's existed long before there were even instances in MMO's. Raiding open world bosses, racing to beat others to the spawn, some people actually found that fun. Instances killed that fun, but opened raiding up to a lot more people.
Secondly, while you are allowed to disagree with my assertion that the game needs more raid content, and while Coil is pretty good for one-group content, one-group content is still NOT raid content.
Who cares what Square Enix considers Raid content. It's not exactly like WoW, so it's not right.First off, that's not *my* definition - that's the definition as exemplified by MMO's over the past 15 years. If they consider Coil a Raid, then it's a Raid. If they want to call Coil a tea party, then it's a tea party. Who the hell are you to tell them they're wrong just because every other MMO for the last 15 years is too scared to do anything different? Go play one of the 500 clone MMOs out right now if you don't like it.

In short, you're arguing the difference in soccer over football. In this land, soccer is correct.
